Funding Statement

The Indonesian Journal of Acupuncture requires authors to disclose all sources of financial and material support for the research and the preparation of their manuscripts. Funding information must be transparent, accurate, and included in the submitted manuscript, even when the research has received no external funding.

Authors must identify the funding organization, grant provider, or sponsor, including the grant number where applicable. They must also disclose the role of the funder in the study design, data collection, data analysis, interpretation of results, manuscript preparation, and the decision to submit the manuscript for publication.

If the funder had no involvement in these activities, authors should explicitly state this in the manuscript. If the research received no specific funding from public, commercial, or nonprofit funding agencies, authors should include the following statement:

"This research received no specific grant from any funding agency in the public, commercial, or not-for-profit sectors."

If the research was funded, authors should provide a statement such as:

"This research was funded by [name of funding organization] under grant number [grant number]. The funder had no role in the study design, data collection, data analysis, interpretation of the results, manuscript preparation, or the decision to submit the manuscript for publication."

The statement concerning the funder's role must accurately reflect the actual circumstances of the research. If the funder participated in any of these activities, its specific role must be clearly disclosed.

The editorial team may request additional information or supporting documentation regarding research funding when necessary. Funding disclosures are assessed as part of the journal's commitment to transparency, research integrity, and responsible scholarly publishing.
