The Indonesian Journal of Acupuncture’s Digital Archiving and Preservation Policy establishes the mechanisms used to support the long-term preservation, continued accessibility, and integrity of the journal’s published scholarly record. The journal aims to safeguard its published content through appropriate digital preservation practices.
The journal's digital preservation mechanisms may include:
Local Server Backups: Regular backups of published articles, associated files, metadata, and journal databases to support data recovery and minimize the risk of data loss.
PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): Digital preservation services provided by the Public Knowledge Project for eligible journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS), where activated.
LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): A distributed preservation system that enables participating libraries to preserve and provide access to journal content.
CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): A digital preservation network that supports long-term preservation and continued access to scholarly content for participating journals.
These mechanisms aim to protect the journal’s published scholarly record against data loss and support long-term access and availability.
This policy operates alongside the journal’s Copyright and Licensing Policy, and Publication Ethics policies to maintain the integrity and accessibility of published research.
